Group presentation

For our presentation we have decided to separate into three different areas, to evenly share the responsibility. Oliver will be talking about the concept of the show, highlighting what aim to represent through sound, and how it differs from a non student life.

I will be discussing the aims, explaining to the audience what we are hoping to achieve by using this idea for a sound scape. e.g. to show the social side of a student, so the audience (students) can relate, show the contrast between student and non student life, and to relate to wider audience by representing non student life too.

Adam is going to talk about the sounds, discussing the types of sounds we will use for the morning, the day and the evening, including ideas for dialogue.  We will also include a final slide with our pictures on stating our contributions.

Our Idea

Our Idea for a Sound scape will represent the day of a typical university student. We will focus on the morning and on the evening,

The morning will include sounds you would relate to waking up e.g. alarms, a phone call of your mum, turning off the alarm and going back to bed etc…

The evening will play sounds of a night out/ festival e.g. loud music, crowds. And will represent a student being drunk and stumbling home.

We thought this was a good idea, and lets be honest we can relate ourselves all too well.
